Charles has just returned to Melbourne from an exciting short tour in Singapore. He is currently gearing up to headline for the most exciting indie music fest in Frankston, VIC, at The Big Feed Festival on 20 March 2010, Saturday. Shortly after winning the title for Season One's "The Storytellers" Singer songwriter competition, tour booking agent, MLG Presents has made way for Charles to take the stage at various key venues such as Ding Dong Lounge in Melbourne and now to headline a music festival alongside other key aussie artists. Nominations are made based on a panel of top industry musicians and music professionals, so this is a huge accolade to be sitting among the Top 50 of the nation! Charles J Tan has been shortlised for the MusicOz Awards 2010. MusicOz is an independent ARIAs and this is a great milestone since winning "The Storytellers" Singer Songwriter Competition in Melbourne just a few months ago! Voting has commenced for People's Choice Awards, so those of you in Australia, make sure you show your support by voting.

Singapore
Charles is currently travelling in Singapore and will be performing a series of short acoustic gigs to culminate towards a music showcase concert on 12 March at the lush Oosh Bar @ 22 Dempsey Road. Tickets are now available for booking now. A Free CD single for "Almost Sunday" will be given away as part of the night's showcase.
